Monday – Thursday, 10‑hour shifts, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm.

• Patient triage: weight, blood pressure, temperature, medication list updates, chief complaint documentation.
• Electronic prescription services, pharmacy communication, prescription verification.
• Phlebotomy and EKG’s.
• Telephone handling: screening calls, retrieving voicemails, returning patient calls.
• Pre‑certifying procedures, calling patients about lab results, maintaining daily logs.
• Patient appointment and testing coordination, scheduling procedures and referral appointments.
• Information and education regarding procedure preps.
• Assisting staff as directed and attending meetings as required.
• Applying nursing principles, medication knowledge, infection control, environmental safety, HIPAA standards, medical chart reporting.

• Customer service with courteous demeanor towards patients and callers.
• Well organized, detail oriented, independent work ability.
• Critical thinking, communication, influence, decision making.
• Ability to work cooperatively as part of office staff and team.

• Daily standing, walking, squatting, bending, maneuvering.
• May require lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Workload and difficult situations may cause stress.

• High School Diploma.
• Medical Assistant Training.

• Current CPR Certification.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification.
