Clyde & Co seeks a highly motivated Paralegal with 5+ years of experience to assist our Trial and Defense team.

What you'll do:
  • Drafting and sending assorted documents to clients, counsel and courts as needed, such as correspondence, deposition notices, briefs, motions, orders, petitions, and discovery
  • Filing and service of all documents
  • Managing case deadlines across multiple cases filed in different jurisdictions
  • Maintain a very busy caseload
  • Assisting in document review and organization
  • Preparing privilege logs
  • Assisting with depositions and digesting deposition transcripts
  • Case maintenance (organization of files such as correspondence, pleadings, discovery, etc.)
  • Reviewing court dockets
  • Assisting with witness interviews and communications
  • Coordinating expert retention and medical defenses
  • Calendar maintenance
We're looking for someone who:
  • 5+ years litigation experience, asbestos litigation a plus
  • Strong Organization, oral and written communication, and analytical skills
  • Prior trial support experience is advantageous
  • Ability to learn quickly and function in a fast-paced environment
  • Experienced with e-filing and e-service in multiple jurisdictions
  • Creative problem solver who takes initiative to accomplish tasks with a minimal level of supervision
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experienced with a variety of computer applications and internet programs:
    Microsoft Word, Outlook, Lexis Nexis, Westlaw, iManage

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
