Material Handler (Night Shift)

Shift: Rotating 3rd Shift; 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• $18.75 per hour plus $1.00/hr shift premium

• Drive and certify on forklift, clamp truck, walkie rider, and other PITs to move raw materials and finished goods
• Read and understand bills of materials and bills of lading
• Operate scan gun and JD Edwards’s system to locate and scan product into various product locations and to print bills of lading
• Identify external customers by directing customers to appropriate doors and completing required paperwork
• Troubleshoot shipping issues
• Compile BOLs for completed loads
• Scan confirmed loads into Docushare
• Communicate when live loads arrive

• Ensure work is performed safely in accordance with company standards
• Contribute to a cooperative working effort by demonstrating willingness to perform other job‑related work as needed

• High school diploma/GED required
• Basic understanding of supply chain and warehouse flow
• Experience in logistics (warehouse shipping and receiving)
• Prior experience using scanning equipment with a WMS system preferred
• Prior experience with forklift and powered industrial trucks preferred
• Prior dispatch experience desirable
• Prior experience with JD Edwards or other WMS desirable
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A working knowledge of GMP, FDA, and OSHA regulations and guidelines a plus
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision
