This is a full‑time permanent position.
Position Summary & Key Areas of ResponsibilityPosition responsible for producing paper rolls and maintaining productivity from a variety of slitting machines (includes adjusting and making setups); responsible for keeping equipment adjusted and maintained; keeping area clean.
- Maintain records, including quality records.
- Prepare orders based on appropriate import/export specifications; enter data, track, gather information, and generate standard reports.
- Assure accurate completion of mill roll requisitions; ensure correct raw materials are used; fill out the production report at the end of the job.
- Set up and maintain equipment; ensure equipment runs in accordance with operational standards; perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Ensure the correct raw materials are processed; fill out various production reports.
- Lower: 0‑25 lbs
- Moderate: 26‑100 lbs
- High: over 100 lbs
- Weight repeatedly lifted per shift.
Work environment involves repetitive lifting in the lower range and occasional lifting in the higher range; exposure to electrical hazards, dust, moving machinery, noise, and odors; goggles and earplugs may be required.
Basic Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0‑2 years of related experience.
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Good speed and manual dexterity.
- Quality oriented.
- Ability to trouble‑shoot, adjust, and repair equipment.
- Good math ability to include reading instruments in metric, thousands, and 1/64” increments.
- Ability to work well as a team member.
- May require certification to use work‑area equipment.
- 2+ years of related experience.
