Position Overview:

The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the hotel’s equipment and building systems. The ideal candidate is reliable, hands‑on, and has a strong eye for detail, along with solid technical knowledge and physical stamina.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform minor repairs such as fixing broken locks, patching walls, and touch‑up painting 🎨
  • Inspect control panels and electrical wiring to identify and resolve issues
  • Install appliances and equipment as needed
  • Complete routine maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs 💡
  • Inspect and troubleshoot building systems (e.g., HVAC, ventilation)
  • Maintain outdoor areas including lawn care and trash removal 🌿
  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarms) 🚨
  • Collaborate with contractors and team members during repairs or renovations
  • Report maintenance needs and completed work to the Chief Engineer (if applicable)
Skills &

Qualifications:
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Experience using hand and power tools 🔧
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
