The Child Watch Team Member is responsible for the safety and supervision of children while their parents are participating in on-site recreation activities/classes at Morristown Landing Recreation & Events.

• Directly align with the venue's Mission Statement and Core Values
• Plan and execute age-appropriate activities
• Clearly and effectively communicate with parents, children, and Team Members
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities
• Communicate with parents regarding their child's wellbeing
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
• Report all accidents, safety hazards, or conflicts to your supervisor immediately
• Additional tasks assigned by management

• Previous experience working with children
• Experience and success in customer service
• Proven problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Action-oriented personality

• Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
• Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others

• Must be able to lift 20 pounds waist high
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend
• Will be required to operate a computer
• Facility has intermittent noise
