This is a full-time position (part-time available), day shift. Copley Hospital has various shifts available across Full-Time, Part-Time, and Temporary roles. Please apply to discuss how your availability aligns.
Compensation: $28-32/hour. The posted salary reflects base compensation for candidates with limited experience. Offers may vary based on experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data.
Responsibilities include:
- Accurately recording and entering results into the computer according to protocol.
- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs as capable.
- Performing receptionist/phlebotomist tasks as required.
- Obtaining specimens suitable to the patient’s age and ability.
- Performing all laboratory determinations.
- Ensuring controls are within acceptable limits.
- Correlating lab results with clinical findings through chart review and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
- Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology preferred.
- One to two years of hospital laboratory experience desired.
- MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification.
