Nurse Manager- Operating and Procedure Rooms

Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of a Nurse Manager to join our team in the Operating and Procedure Rooms. This is a registered nurse who has 24-hour accountability and responsibility for the operation of this nursing unit. These responsibilities include providing excellence and quality in patient care delivery in accordance with the Plans of the Department of Nursing, the mission of Copley Hospital, fiscal responsibility, management and leadership of staff, collaboration with medical staff, as well as maintaining working relationships with other hospital managers, and positive interaction with families, visitors, and vendors.

The Nurse Manager is accountable for continuous personal growth and development as well as encouraging and providing opportunities for staff to gain expertise. The Nurse Manager possesses excellent interpersonal skills, problem identification and resolution abilities. The Nurse Manager is responsible for meeting the standards set forth by CMS and other regulatory agencies and the Standards of Nursing Care and Practice.

They will serve as an ambassador for Copley Hospital while on and off duty.

This is a Full-Time position (PT options available).

Education Required:

BSN / BS (or currently enrolled in program)

Education Desired:

MS / MSN

Experience Required:

3-5 years of current Operating Room clinical experience; 1-2 years current experience in nursing leadership
