Overview
Copley Hospital, located in Morrisville/Stowe VT, is in search of a Nurse Manager to join our team in the Emergency Department! The Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse who has 24‑hour accountability and responsibility for the operation of the nursing unit. These responsibilities include providing excellence and quality in patient care delivery in accordance with the Plans of the Department of Nursing, the mission of Copley Hospital, fiscal responsibility, management and leadership of staff, collaboration with medical staff, as well as maintaining working relationships with other hospital managers, and positive interactions with families, visitors, and vendors.
The Nurse Manager is accountable for continuous personal growth and development as well as encouraging and providing opportunities for staff to gain expertise. The Nurse Manager possesses excellent interpersonal skills, problem identification and resolution abilities. The Nurse Manager is responsible for meeting the standards set forth by CMS and other regulatory agencies and the Standards of Nursing Care and Practice.
They will serve as an ambassador for Copley Hospital while on and off duty.
This is a Full‑Time position (PT available). Copley Hospital has a variety of shifts available across Full‑Time, Part‑Time, and Per Diem needs. Please consider applying to discuss how your availability may align.

Qualifications Education Required- BSN / BS (or currently enrolled in program)
- MS / MSN
- 3‑5 years of current clinical experience
- 1‑2 years current experience in nursing management
- Quality Improvement experience
- Fiscal management experience
