** Pay Range**: rate is based off from experience and certifications but can range from $18.00 to $27.00 per hour. This can vary depending on experience.
** SIGN ON BONUS FOR SURGICAL EXPERIENCE OF $1000.00
**** Core Responsibilities** **/ Skills
*** Assisting Veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
* Understanding of medical terminology and products
* Safe and fear free animal restraint/handling
* Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
* Running lab diagnostics
* Radiology techniques (including dental)
* Phlebotomy skills / catheter placement
* Appropriate sterilization of hospital and equipment
* Provide education for clients through effective communication
* Anesthesia monitoring including pre and post op
* Machine maintenance
* Appropriate record keeping
