Market Morrisville VT Meat Clerk Part Time

Pay Range: $15.75- $19.30

Provides fast, friendly, helpful and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Maintains acceptable product levels for good selection within all meat cases to promote optimal opportunity for sales. Adheres to present standards in preparing and wrapping meat as directed. Maintains proper sanitation and safety standards according to established procedures.

• Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful and efficient customer service at all times.
• Responsible for smiling, making eye contact and thanking customer upon fulfilling customer's request.
• Maintain a neat, clean and organized workstation, according to 5S standards, at all times.
• Maintain the meat and deli frozen case to include ensuring adequate product levels, product pricing, product pricing, expiration dates/codes and damages.
• Rotate product to ensure proper coding/dates and removes damaged/expired product.
• Prepare and grind sausage and cube steaks. Wrap meat products as required.
• Responsible for performing sanitation duties within the department, in accordance with corporate and state regulations (i.e.: cleaning meat department equipment, shelves and floors).
• Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Must be at least 18 years of age. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Strong communication skills. Basic literacy skills. Satisfactory performance reviews. Basic computer skills.
