Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client in RTP, NC 27709
. The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Controller and will assist in ensuring that the company receives payment for goods and services provided to customers.

• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
• Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.
• Takes customer calls for invoicing, payments and other inquiries related to billing.
• Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and calls delinquent account holders to request payment.
• Creates reports regarding the status of customer accounts as requested.
• Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.
• Collaborates with the Accounting team to reconcile accounts receivable which includes calling customers.
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
• Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.

• Associate’s in Business preferred or equivalent with 2-5 years of previous office experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Good organizational, mathematical, data entry and word processing skills.
• Must be detail oriented and keen ability for problem solving.
• Ability to use a calculator and PC; should be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with Business Central a plus.
