Senior Accountant

$35 - $40/hour, depending on experience.

Join a dynamic team where you manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. This opportunity allows you to provide financial insights, support audits, and contribute to process improvements.

• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist with external audits and regulatory filings
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS
• Review and improve accounting processes
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Collaborate with other departments on financial matters

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Quick Books, Oracle)
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective communication and leadership skills

• Experience with ERP system implementation
• Exposure to tax compliance, payroll, and cost accounting
• Knowledge of financial analysis and business performance metrics
