Description and RequirementsLenovo is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager to support our North America Corporate and Commercial Sales organization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex commercial contracting environments, build strong cross‑functional relationships, and manage a high‑volume portfolio of customer agreements. The ideal candidate will be proactive, solutions‑oriented, and capable of leading negotiations, reviewing business terms, and evaluating risks across RFP responses and unsolicited proposals.
The Senior Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing all contractual activities from negotiation through post‑award performance, ensuring full compliance with contractual terms, internal policies, and customer expectations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for contract administration, business term review, modification management, performance monitoring, risk mitigation, and documentation control throughout the contract lifecycle. The position works closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Operations, Supply Chain, Pricing, and Program Management to ensure seamless execution, financial accuracy, and proactive issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Negotiation & RFP/Proposal Review
- Lead negotiations of commercial contract terms, business terms, pricing structures, and service commitments with corporate customers.
- Review and respond to RFPs, RFQs, customer bid documents, and unsolicited proposals
, ensuring alignment with Lenovo business objectives and risk standards. - Analyze customer requirements, identify contractual or operational risks, and propose alternative terms or mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance to structure competitive yet compliant offers that meet customer needs and protect Lenovo’s interests.
Contract Administration & Lifecycle Management
- Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial customer contracts, including MSAs, sales agreements, service agreements, pricing schedules, and addendums.
- Track key milestones such as deliverables, renewals, pricing adjustments, notice periods, and expirations.
- Prepare and process contract modifications, extensions, customer‑required forms, and other administrative updates.
- Maintain accurate and accessible contract files, databases, and reporting dashboards.
Compliance & Operational Execution
- Ensure ongoing compliance with contractual obligations, internal Lenovo policies, data protection requirements, and customer‑specific expectations.
- Conduct periodic internal contract compliance reviews to ensure audit readiness and operational accuracy.
- Support both internal and customer audits by preparing documentation, addressing inquiries, and coordinating stakeholder responses.
Customer Relationship & Cross‑Functional Partnership
- Serve as the primary contact for all post‑award contractual matters with internal teams and customers.
