DescriptionThe Sr. Channel Operations Manager, NA will be responsible for the strategic development and direction of Commercial Programs with Invisalign and iTero business with a focus on North America. The role establishes the strategic vision to meet sales objectives and strengthen customer relationships, reputation, and impact of Align Technology across the North America Sales team and Orthodontic/Dentist Community. It will work to optimize processes, create efficiencies for commercial operations and escalation procedures by planning and aligning with cross‑functional team members to drive results.
The individual will assess training needs to drive service delivery improvements and create a value‑added experience for customers/clients. Customer engagement and experience will be in the forefront in driving vision and purpose to deliver superior sales objectives and strengthen customer relationships, reputation, and impact of Align Technology across the North America Commercial team and Orthodontic/Dental community.
- Partner directly with field senior leadership to identify needs and then partner cross‑functionally with Ops, Marketing, Finance, etc. on delivering solutions.
- Oversee sales initiatives and projects from initiation through delivery and interfacing with internal customers or other department members. Organize project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensure communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Define and drive strategic initiatives between area and key cross‑functional stakeholders centered around customer experience and operational execution.
- Facilitate the implementation of corporate programs by enhancing the connection between the area field sales teams across business/channel lines.
- Analyze data, area operations and strategies to proactively identify risk and implement solutions.
- Develop and lead sales meetings, including coordinating key cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Lead and inspire teams by motivating and engaging them to achieve goals.
- Partner with Field Sales and additional internal company resources to optimize the customer experience and provide ongoing promotion of Align products.
- Identify and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize sales performance.
- Focus on building and improving process efficiencies within the team.
- Perform ongoing analysis of customer engagement and take the necessary measures to increase product usage and adoption.
- Initiate and maintain effective communication with clients, sales executives and other sales support team members.
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience such as: sales, sales management, sales training, program initiation and implementation (dental or medical device experience preferred).
- Track record of coaching/developing mid‑level management and individual contributors.
- Strong analytical skills and thrive in a detail‑oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to diverse customer audiences.
- Excellent capabilities to interface effectively with all customer types.
- Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excels at organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks/projects.
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Sales Force.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.
