Recruitment Specialist - Hiring for Biotech, Chemical & Medical Device Manufacturing Clients across United States

Location: Morrisville, NC & Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 12 Months

Hybrid role: 4 days on site and 1 remote day flexible

Travel: 10-25% of time

Pay: $45-$55/hr

• Lead global Plastics category initiatives to deliver savings, supplier rationalization, low-cost region sourcing, and risk management.
• Execute a 3–5 year global sourcing strategy, identifying and contracting preferred suppliers aligned with business and category goals.
• Partner with division and site procurement teams to qualify suppliers and migrate spend from non-preferred suppliers.
• Drive RFQs and negotiations for global agreements aligned with category and divisional strategies.
• Manage strategic supplier contracts across products and services within the Plastics category.
• Analyze supplier performance data, lead supplier business reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide spend analysis and market intelligence to support informed decision-making and evolving business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a technical field.
• 3–5 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, ideally in Mechanical Sourcing or Plastics.
• Proven experience conducting RFQs for direct materials with demonstrated cost savings.
• Strong negotiation, business acumen, and ability to influence without authority in a matrix environment.
• Experience in continuous improvement environments with measurable year-over-year results.
• Background in regulated industries; life sciences, medical device, or pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• Hands‑on manufacturing and/or supply chain experience preferred.
