Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Civil Estimator based in Morrisville, NC. The Civil Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates, and reviewing project plans and specifications. Day‑to‑day tasks include calculating labor, material, and equipment costs, developing project budgets, and coordinating with project managers, engineers, and suppliers. The role will contribute to ensuring competitive and accurate project proposals, helping the company exceed client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation, budget preparation, and financial planning for construction projects
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Expertise in project coordination and effective communication with teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Competency with estimation software, Agtek, HCSS Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant technology tools
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines
• Knowledge of construction methods, industry standards, and safety protocols
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in civil estimating or a related construction field is highly desirable
