Base pay range
$30.00/hr - $48.00/hr
As a Credit Specialist, you will safeguard company revenue by assessing customer financial health and setting credit limits that balance risk and growth. Leveraging financial analysis, credit scoring models, and cross‑functional collaboration, you will make informed decisions that support global operations, mitigate risk, and strengthen customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate customer creditworthiness through financial statement analysis, cash flow review, and trend assessment.
- Apply conventional and alternative credit arrangements (letters of credit, drafts, deposits).
- Advise customers on significant credit issues and recommend solutions.
- Establish and track KPIs to measure credit process effectiveness.
- Compile and analyze results; provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Communicate risk insights to collections and partner teams.
- Provide coverage for team members during absences and contribute to team initiatives.

Technical Skills

- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud, Oracle 11i; SAP preferred).
- Ability to interpret credit reports and apply credit scoring models.
Performance Indicators
- Accuracy and timeliness of credit evaluations.
- Contribution to reducing credit risk and improving cash‑flow metrics.
Additional Requirements
- Knowledge of bankruptcy laws and proactive creditor strategies.
- Awareness of how collateral positions affect cash flow, credit terms, and collection strategies.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to standard accounting/finance practices.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in credit analysis or financial risk assessment.
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position: $30-$48/hour
