Patient Registration Representative - Fuquay Varina Overview

The Patient Registration Representative will enjoy interacting with patients, checking them in for their appointments and coordinating follow‑up appointments. The role accurately performs administrative duties required for patient registration, including entering demographic and insurance information and collecting copays. As a liaison to patients, the community, and healthcare professionals, this position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure delivery of the highest quality customer service.

The work environment is high‑volume and fast‑paced, requiring the ability to greet and check patients in upon arrival and provide unsurpassed service to patients and families presenting for appointments, surgeries, therapies, or procedures. Registration and checkout are completed at the centralized welcome desks at hospital entrances and medical office buildings as well as at the check‑in desk within the physician practices.

The Representative is responsible for collecting point‑of‑service payments and may also be responsible for scheduling appointments.
