Job Summary
The Amazon FSx for Net App ONTAP Sales Specialist team at Net App is growing fast! We want to add a sales leader to help accelerate our Amazon FSx for Net App ONTAP adoption by working backward from customer challenges and delivering solutions that meet customer outcomes in the Retail segment.
Note:
Amazon FSx for Net App ONTAP is a storage service that allows you to launch and run fully managed Net App ONTAP file systems in the AWS Cloud. It provides the familiar features, performance, capabilities, and APIs of Net App file systems with the agility, scalability, and simplicity of a fully managed AWS service. It provides AWS customers with secure, reliable, performant, operationally excellent, and cost-optimized architectures, at low cloud storage costs.
Overview
We are looking for an experienced solutions-oriented sales leader who earns trust through his/her ability to demonstrate customer obsession, bias for action, ownership, learn & be curious, dive deep, think big, and invent & simplify to deliver results. Sales experience and relationships within the EDA / Semiconductor Development ecosystem is highly important. Any specialist industry / vertical knowledge and expertise is highly advantageous.
Additionally, the applicant must be able to:
- Partner with the core Net App Client Sales Executives to develop hybrid cloud sales strategies positioning Amazon FSx for Net App ONTAP as a viable option that meets all their AWS cloud data management needs.
- Partner with AWS Account Teams and their Sales Specialists in the Data, App Modernization & Migration pillars to use Amazon FSx for Net App ONTAP for all their file and block storage, database, and AI/ML solutions they sell to their customers.
- Drive enablement to the broader Net App and AWS core Account Teams, as well as their extended teams, such as Solution Architects, VMC on AWS, Microsoft, SAP HANA, Oracle, Data Base, Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Pro Serv resources, so they know where and how to include Amazon FSX for Net App ONTAP into customer proposals to win more deals.
- Develop and deliver presentations and coordinate high-level functional product demonstrations to new and existing accounts, both remotely and face-to-face.
- Collaborate with a technical Cloud Solution Architect partner in the strategy and development of their joint business.
- Increase partner and cross-team literacy of Amazon FSX for Net App ONTAP through webinars, enablement campaigns, and customer propensity analysis.
- Desire and commitment to learn and develop skills and to be an active member of a diverse, ambitious, and growing team.
- Ensuring that the business is accurately represented through good record keeping, including good and ACE hygiene.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification – or ability to pass within 90 days of joining.
- Comfortable traveling to meet with customers face to face, to meet the needs of the business.
- Comfortable giving feedback to the business about areas of possible improvement as we continuously look for our own growth opportunities.
- Good communication, writing, and other soft skills.
We would expect the candidate to have 10-15 years of enterprise selling experience, ideally with experience selling AWS, IaaS, IT Infrastructure Services, Storage, Managed and/or Professional Services with a good understanding of the Public Cloud marketplace, and an outstanding knowledge of ISV’s markets, landscapes, operations and GTM models.
Strong sales and enablement skills are a priority.
The target salary range for this position is 306, USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings’ (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved.
