SummaryProvides technical support (development, testing, integration, and implementation) of applications and interfaces that deliver IT tools and support business functions across the health system. The role focuses on supporting inpatient and outpatient operational teams using non-Epic pharmacy systems and workflows that interface with Epic, providing innovative solutions to enhance functionality and troubleshoot issues effectively. The position is remote but requires onsite visits for go‑lives and meetings.
Responsibilities- Assists other IT teams with selection and provides technical evaluation of products/tools to ensure enterprise‑wide requirements are met.
- Develops and maintains clear documentation for program development, modification, and troubleshooting.
- Functions as liaison to health system departments, maintaining high service levels and serving as project lead for vendor‑based system implementation.
- Offers design solutions and alternatives to enhance existing systems, participates in scope definition, designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents programs, interfaces, and scripts.
- Updates management, customers, and others on task progress via written or oral reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
- No licensure or certification required.
- If a Bachelor’s degree:
Two (2) years of IT systems and/or operational experience. - If an Associate’s degree:
Four (4) years of IT systems and/or operational experience. - If a High School diploma or GED:
Six (6) years of IT systems and/or operational experience.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be highly responsive to internal customers.
