Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Public Storage is the self-storage industry leader and we are hiring Property Managers. Earn $13.50 Per Hour.

• Flexible and full‑time schedules between 9:30 am and 6 pm (weekends until 5 pm)

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside the facilities.
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies.
• Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, ensuring spaces are ready to rent.
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of daily operations.
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required.

• Transport and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Walk around facilities spending up to 50% of time outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as sweeping/mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds to ensure curb appeal.

• Experience
  :
  Successful candidates come from customer‑service‑centered sales environments such as retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service‑based companies.
• Transportation
  :
  Employees must have a valid driver’s license and use their own vehicle to travel between locations; mileage reimbursement is available.
