Offset Sheetfed Press Operator – 40" Komori & KBA | Raleigh, NC

Join the World Leader in Trading Card Printing – Millennium Print Group (MPG), a subsidiary of The Pokémon Company International. Based in Raleigh, NC, MPG is hiring skilled operators to run Komori and KBA (Koenig & Bauer) sheetfed presses for premium trading card production.

• Operate high-end equipment:
  Run Komori LS/GL series and KBA Rapida sheetfed presses for premium trading card production.
• Execute precise make-readies:
  Perform press setup, color matching, registration, and makeready activities to meet tight production timelines.
• Ensure quality control:
  Monitor color consistency, dot gain, and print quality using color theory, LAB values, gray balance, and ink density adjustments.
• Maximize efficiency:
  Maintain optimal run speeds while minimizing waste and downtime.
• Troubleshoot and maintain:
  Identify mechanical issues, perform minor repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on presses.
• Document and report:
  Log job data, including time, material usage, and quality checks.
• Prioritize safety:
  Follow standard safety protocols and manage occasional heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs).

• Industry
  
  Experience:
  
  10+ years operating offset sheetfed presses in high-quality commercial, packaging, or specialty print environments.
• Komori or KBA Expertise:
  Hands-on experience with Komori or KBA Rapida presses, especially 40" or larger multicolor configurations.
• Advanced Color
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in color calibration, ink management, and branded color reproduction using certified techniques.
• Technical Aptitude:
  Familiarity with UV curing systems, specialty coatings, and inline quality control technology.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required.

Location: Raleigh, NC

Schedule: Full-time, on-site. 6-8 weeks of day shift training; regular schedule is a 12-hour night shift rotation 2-2-3-2 (7pm - 7am).
