Biogen is a leading biotechnology company focused on developing therapies for neurological, autoimmune, and rare diseases.
Biogen’s Cell Culture Development department seeks a talented Associate Scientist II to support advanced process control projects, including bioreactor control via Raman spectroscopy, multivariate calibration modeling, and other technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute experiments with shake-flasks, bench-scale bioreactors, or miniature bioreactor systems.
- Conduct daily reactor sampling, analyze data, and maintain experimental records.
Skills &
Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience with mammalian cell culture, aseptic techniques, and bioreactor operations.
- Experience with large datasets and metabolic process development studies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
