Surveillance Gate Security Officer

Job Description

Surveillance Security Officer – Garda World Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor screens and spot threats before they escalate in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, and other secured locations.

• Schedule:
  • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday–Friday (40 hours per week)
  • 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Wednesday–Sunday (40 hours per week)
• Competitive hourly wage: $18.50 per hour; bi‑weekly pay periods (Daily Pay available for Garda World employees)

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED (documentation required)
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report‑writing skills
• Sharp visual attention and excellent concentration
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Prior security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is a plus
• State license if required
