Welder​/Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Mechanic with fabrication experience to join our team. If you have a strong mechanical background and hands-on fabrication skills, this is a great opportunity to be part of a growing company dedicated to excellence.

As a Welder / Mechanic with fabrication experience, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating equipment and machinery used in civil construction work. You will work on a wide range of tasks, including welding repairs, mechanical troubleshooting, and custom fabrications to ensure our equipment, trucks, and vehicles operate efficiently and safely.

• Perform welding, fabrication, and repairs on excavators, bulldozers, dump trucks and other heavy machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues on equipment and vehicles and carry out repairs, including engine, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings for fabrication projects.
• Fabricate custom parts, brackets, and components as needed to maintain or improve equipment performance.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential issues and address them before they lead to downtime.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, hand tools, and mechanical repair tools safely and efficiently.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance and operations teams to ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a welder, mechanic, or fabricator in an industrial or heavy equipment setting.
• Strong proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Experience with mechanical repairs on vehicles and heavy equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with fabrication machinery such as grinders, drills, and saws.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various environmental conditions.
