What You Will Do As a Software Engineer on our team, you will play a key role in the design, development, integration, and verification of our embedded software solutions. We value individuals with a strong desire to learn, grow, and expand their technical capabilities, especially within embedded environments. The ideal candidate will consistently deliver superior results, ensuring project milestones are met while fostering a positive work environment.

You should thrive in collaborative team settings, both in-person and through technology, and enjoy working closely with others to achieve shared goals. You will also have opportunities to collaborate with experts across other disciplines, including hardware, systems, and FPGA engineering. You will be a part of a team that is developing new and innovative products for our customers’ mission. You will face and conquer challenges across a wide range of complex and interesting problem domains.

You will develop your skills with software application tools and languages such as Rust, C ++, and Python. You will impact the team positively by demonstrating your ability to implement and test software solutions. You will have opportunities to learn about cryptography, waveform & networking protocols, embedded devices, Dev Sec Ops , command & control, project engineering
What You Will Learn You will gain experience working with an agile team. You will gain experience in the full software development lifecycle.
Qualifications You Must Have Experience in C, C++, Rust, python and/or Linux Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
Qualifications We Prefer Some experience coding in an embedded environment Security focused mindset Familiar with multi-threaded and object oriented development Familiar with the basics of asymmetric and symmetric encryption TCP/IP network applications development knowledge Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
