CDL Truck Driver​/Lowboy

NOTE:

CDL Class A, clean driving record, and minimum 5 years experience operating lowboy trailers are requirements for this job.
Essential Job Functions:

• Work in a safe manner and adhere to ECCG, OSHA and DOT safety and policy requirements.
• Safely and efficiently transport heavy equipment, machinery, and materials to and from job sites.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of the lowboy trailer and its equipment each day before starting.
• Ensure correct number of chains, binders and straps for load pick up.
• Measure the height of any equipment that may be over height on the trailer.
• Load and unload equipment.
• Secure loads properly, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers and equipment operators to coordinate transportation logistics.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents.
• Wash trucks and equipment when not driving.
• Help around shop or jobsite as needed.
• Interact with internal and external customers professionally.
• Verify you have the right equipment or material for the job.

• Valid CDL A with a clean driving record.
• Clean Criminal History Report
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating a lowboy trailer.
• Strong understanding of local and federal transportation regulations.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
