Position Title:

Primary Care Physician – Multiple Positions

Position

Description:

Provide primary care services to senior/geriatric patients that encompass the following: provide comprehensive health care with a particular focus on preventive and therapeutic medical services for senior and geriatric patients. In this role, she will examine patients for symptoms of organic or congenital disorders and determine the nature and extent of injury or disorder, referring to diagnostic images and tests, and using medical instruments and equipment.

Owing to the geriatric population, there is a particular emphasis on both the prevention as well as treatment of diseases and disabilities in older adults. Prescribe medication and recommend dietary and activity programs, as indicated by diagnosis. When appropriate, refer patients to medical specialists to address specific medical issues.

May work at other Jen Care Senior Medical Center sites in Atlanta, Decatur, East Point, Forest Park or Riverdale.

Requirements:
Medical Degree or foreign equivalent. Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Must possess a Georgia State Medical license and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license.

Location of Positions: 1331 Mount Zion Road, Morrow, GA 30260. May work at other Jen Care Senior Medical Center sites in Atlanta, Decatur, East Point, Forest Park or Riverdale.
