We are seeking a hands‑on Field Service Engineer to deliver installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical training for automated packaging equipment. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in dynamic, customer‑facing environments, enjoy problem‑solving in the field, and have a strong electrical background.

Our client is a global leader in specialized packaging machinery, with a large installed base worldwide and a growing U.S. operation. The Atlanta team is small and collaborative, serving over 150 active accounts in North America. The company is stable, profitable, and poised for continued growth in service, spare parts, and technical support.

• Install, commission, and service automated packaging machinery
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and PLC-related issues
• Provide remote technical support and on‑site customer training
• Complete accurate service documentation and expense reports
• Participate in hands‑on training, including 3–4 weeks at the company’s European headquarters

• Strong electrical foundation (industrial, automation, military electronics, or similar)
• Mechanical aptitude; PLC experience helpful (Beckhoff preferred; Siemens/Allen‑Bradley a plus)
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
• Associate degree or equivalent technical training
• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable with extensive travel
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport
• Successful background and DMV check required
