OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of represented products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner, maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Have desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution of assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate the company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week; the company may modify the role based on business or client needs.
Qualifications- High‑school diploma, GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in using personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
- Local food handler’s permit may be required.
Stand and walk most of the shift; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladders; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a demo cart fully laden; prepare foods and beverages; be in contact with cleaning supplies.
