The Role
The Assistant Director of Nursing supports the Director of Nursing in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring high‑quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and staff development. This role is ideal for a hands‑on clinical leader who enjoys mentoring others and contributing to a strong nursing culture.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and support comprehensive nursing care throughout the facility
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Nurse Managers on clinical goals and outcomes
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
- Participate in the survey process and support survey readiness
- Oversee infection control practices and quality assurance initiatives
- Supervise, train, and mentor nursing staff
- Assist with in‑service education and ongoing staff development
- Active RN license
- Long‑term care or skilled nursing experience
- Strong leadership and team‑oriented mindset
- Infection prevention experience preferred
- Experience training, educating, and supporting nursing staff
- Monday through Friday
- Rotating weekend on‑call
