Merchandise and Stocking Associate

Base pay range

$16.00/hr - $23.00/hr

The merchandising & stocking associate role involves working on your feet to keep things neat and organized. Members rely on you to help them find what they need, from everyday items to special occasion items. Depending on the shift, duties may include moving inventory in the backroom, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, or helping members while stocking shelves. The job can be physically demanding and fast-paced, including tasks like unloading trucks in the summer and stocking freezers.

• Promptly unloading trucks
• Assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store
• Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom
• Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Ensuring club pick up orders are filled and staged according to policy

• Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs; guiding and supporting members regarding self-service technology; assisting with purchasing decisions; locating merchandise; resolving issues; and promoting company products and services
• Maintains safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps; follows forklift spotting procedures; handles hazardous materials safely; adheres to company guidelines; and reports unsafe situations
• Maintains sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning, stocking, organizing displays, cleaning, removing damaged goods, pricing, and identifying shrink and damages
• Monitors product quality, rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; ensures prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise
• Complies with company policies and ethics; supports Open Door Policy in business practices
• Completes work assignments by prioritizing, communicating progress, and adapting to change

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $23.00. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
