We are looking for a dynamic, organized self‑starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Technical Regulatory Compliance Technology Specialist in Morton, IL.

Job Summary
  • The Technical Regulatory Compliance Technology Specialist supports product regulatory compliance programs through various activities that assist in managing compliance risk and ensuring compliance with applicable product regulatory requirements for intended markets.

  • This role is 100% on‑site with no opportunity for hybrid or remote schedules.
What You Will Do
  • Understand and stay current on product regulatory requirements and understand application of same to Caterpillar products.
  • Follow and utilize established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information in support of product certification and compliance.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for processes and tools used to manage product regulatory compliance risks.
  • Collaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure the development, validation and production of product that meets applicable product regulatory requirements.

    Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
    Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Collaborating:
    Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking:
    Knowledge of the decision‑making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Prior experience leading complex and high visibility projects.
  • Risk Management:

    Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization’s exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Regulatory compliance experience.
