Job Title:
Logistics Transportation Analyst
Duration: 2 Years (with a strong possibility of extension)
Responsibilities:- Handle transportation-related accounting functions, including payment of carriers and logistics service providers.
- Validate service invoices and perform rate audits against contracts.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process defects.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to improve supply chain operations.
- Experience in accounting, audit, or supply chain fields.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, regression, histograms).
- SAS programming experience is desirable.
- SQL experience is helpful.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Audit, Supply Chain, or minimum 2 years of equivalent work experience.
- Experience with audit, payables, and supply chain processes is preferred.
- Day-to-day tasks include programming for freight invoice audits and negotiating billing exceptions with carriers.
- Soft Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
