The
** Manager, Transportation
** for Caterpillar’s Equipment Processing Centers (EPC’s) you will manager a global team, with responsibilities to develop, implement and run supply and inventory operations for the global EPC network. Caterpillar’s EPC’s are logistics hubs within the Caterpillar network making product availability quicker for our customers and supporting cost efficiencies through various capabilities including late stage differentiation, re-assembly, Merge in Transit and work tools distribution.

* What You Will Do:

*** Developing, implementing, and managing complex supply chain streams.
* Managing relationships and processes with internal and external suppliers to ensure adequate product supply to meet inventory strategies and enable Finish to Order, Merge in Transit operations and work tools distribution.
* Establishing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with clients, business partners and internal functions.
* Performing analysis of supply chain trends, production schedules, forecast, on-time delivery, and inventory strategies and recommending improvements to the supply chain performance.
* Manage inventory accuracy across all EPC locations, including cycle count and annual counts.
* Help shape the future of the EPC supply strategy based on PSLD capabilities, growth and efficiency targets.
* Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.
** What You Have (Basic Requirements):
*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
