Maintenance Technician​/Mechanic

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time position responsible for maintaining fleet and manufacturing assets to high standards. The technician will apply technical knowledge to support operations in safety, productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing and fleet equipment efficiently and cost-effectively, adhering to manufacturer and industry standards and SOPs.
• Minimize downtime by managing inventory and communicating maintenance needs clearly to management and staff.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, complete paperwork, and keep records.
• Promote a safe workplace by following safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 3 years of experience as a mechanic or in industrial maintenance; or an associate degree in Diesel Mechanics or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Technology.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and PLCs is preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Willingness to obtain necessary maintenance certifications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills and follow-through.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Active listening skills.
