Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers at a client site in Morton, IL to work as needed/on‑call. This position offers a pay rate of $17.50/hr, paid weekly.

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
• Security, military, and/or law enforcement experience is preferred.
• Valid PERC Card preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to drive and have a valid driver's license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Read and understand written instruction and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form.
• Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional report writing skills.
• Must be available to work weekends, weekdays, holidays, mornings, nights, and in all weather conditions.

• Perform a multitude of duties as specified by Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
• Possibly work at various posts/facilities based on operational need; training will be provided.
• Be available to cover shifts as they become available due to illness, call‑offs, weather, vacation, or other causes.
• Accept advance scheduled shifts and short‑notice shifts, working at least 80% of short‑notice shifts.
• Adhere to scheduling parameters: communicate unavailable dates with supervisor.
• Maintain professionalism and safety on all assigned duties.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
