** Overview
* * The Senior Manufacturing Engineer takes Tenicor’s vision for new production processes and makes it real – designing, building, and implementing the automation and systems integration that gets it onto the shop floor. Reports to the Engineering Manager.

** What you’ll love to do:
*** Bring Tenicor’s vision for new production processes to life – from equipment selection and process design through installation, automation, and full-rate production.
* Design and implement automation and integration solutions – robotics, PLCs, custom fixturing and tooling, controls.
* Use data-driven analysis to optimize processes, eliminate constraints, and increase throughput.
* Partner with the Engineering Manager and design engineers to translate new product designs into producible, efficient processes.
* Integrate new equipment and control systems into existing production lines with minimal disruption to throughput.
* Iterate the process (over and over again...and again) based on testing results, floor feedback, and data.
* Break things and learn from it.
** You’ll succeed if you:
*** Possess a strong attention to detail but can see the big picture.
* Are not afraid to fail, learn from it, and get better than yesterday.
* Have an immense bias toward action, experimentation, and forward momentum.
* Can take direction and run with it.
* Have hands-on experience with automation and integration – PLC programming, robotics, or custom control systems – and know your way around Fusion 360, Haas vertical milling centers, and Notion.
* Understand or are excited to learn how to apply the Theory of Constraints to manufacturing processes.
* Have a strong interest in shooting and tactics. (This is not required, but it is a plus.)
