Overview
Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) licensed in Washington to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Service areas incorporate: Olympia, Lacey, WA
Responsibilities- Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
- Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time available
W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor Rates
Requirements- Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing as a PMHNP or FNP with a focus on psychiatry.
- Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA).
- Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees).
- 1 year Geriatric Psych Experience (preferred).
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
- Excellent written communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus!
- Billable Hour Compensation model (no waiting on reimbursements).
