Onsite Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner; PMHNP​/FNP​/AGNP​/PA-C

Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs, FNPs, AGNPs) or Physician Assistants (PA-C) licensed in Washington to work direct care within our contracted Skilled Nursing Facilities.

BHS specializes in providing comprehensive behavioral health services for adults and geriatrics in a variety of settings. We encourage a collaborative culture with hands-on leadership and are seeking skilled professionals who share our commitment to providing state-of-the-art psychiatric services.

Service areas incorporate:

• Seeking a dually licensed provider to work in Colfax, WA.

Responsibilities:

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

Job Type:

• Full-time or Part-time available
• W2 Billable Hour or 1099 Independent Contractor roles available

Requirements:

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing as a PMHNP or FNP with a focus on psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA).
• Possession of Malpractice Insurance if Independent Contractor (offered by the company for W2 employees).
• 1 year Geriatric Psych Experience (preferred).

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Athena I, a plus).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized, and able to function under stressful situations.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus!
