Cook (Full Time and Part Time) at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services.

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions with schedule flexibility across days, nights, and weekends.

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring proper temperatures, and presenting appealing dishes; tastes all prepared items.
• Maintains cleanliness; stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures; keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment; assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies; reports maintenance needs or accidents to supervisor.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings; maintains safe working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned; adheres to company policies and procedures including safety and glove/shoe use as specified.

• No experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment; willingness to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
