• Preventative maintenance and repair on refuse/recycling trucks, heavy equipment, forklifts, and related machinery
• Preserve equipment readiness by cleaning, organizing, and safely storing tools and materials
• Perform and document functionality checks to confirm proper operation
• Champion safety; follow and model company policies and procedures
• Offer constructive, professional feedback and collaborate with your team
• Communicate clearly with coworkers, customers, and supervisors
• Complete service records, logs, and required reports
• Weld as needed for repairs and fabrication
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues
• Operate independently with minimal supervision
• Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards

• Class B CDL preferred (not mandatory)
• Solid knowledge of safe truck, forklift, and heavy equipment operation
• Exceptional attention to detail and situational awareness for a safe workplace
• Able to follow and enforce safety procedures
• Flexible for rotating on-call weekend coverage
• Strong documentation and verbal communication abilities
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional duties
• Team-focused collaborator
• Own basic hand tools and have dependable transportation
