Posting Context Statement: The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with all facets of conducting a successful NCAA intercollegiate program. The position must comply with all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations and must display professional integrity. Duties include on-the-floor coaching during practices and games; recruiting of top-quality student-athletes; team travel, conditioning, academics, promotional and public relations activities;
summer collegiate camps; other duties as assigned by the head coach.
The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach with all facets of conducting a successful NCAA intercollegiate program. The position must comply with all NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations and must display professional integrity.
Duties- On-the-floor coaching during practices and games
- Recruiting of top-quality student-athletes
- Team travel, conditioning, academics, promotional and public relations activities
- Summer collegiate camps
- Other duties as assigned by the head coach
- Previous coaching experience at the collegiate, high-level club, or professional playing/coaching level
- Teaching, communicating, and motivating student-athletes
- Organizational and administrative experience
- Interpreting, applying, and explaining policies and procedures / rules and regulations
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to meet UI policy requirements for driving university-owned vehicles
- Ability to travel
- Ability to work non-standard business hours
- Experience coaching at the NCAA Division I or II level
- Commitment to NCAA, Big Sky, and University compliance standards
- Strong recruiting network and experience evaluating talent
- Collegiate playing experience
- Familiarity with video analysis tools such as Hudl, Balltime, or Volley metrics
- Master’s degree
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to assist in drills/practice
Degree Requirement: Listed degree qualification is required at time of application.
FLSA Status: Exempt

Pay Range: $47,424 - $50,000 annually
