Overview

Physical Therapy Assistant (LTAC) travel assignment in Moses Lake, Washington. This role begins on October 12, 2026 for a 13-week engagement in a long-term care setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,466 to $1,514 per week, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. The shift is 08:00–16:30, five days per week (5x8). Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy assistant services under supervision within an LTAC/long-term care rehabilitation program, contributing to the patient’s plan of care.
  • Lead and assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility activities, and restorative strategies tailored to geriatric patients.
  • Monitor patient progress, document interventions and outcomes, and communicate changes to the supervising therapist and care team.
  • Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, activity progression, and activity modification to support continued recovery.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, rehabilitation therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate care, ensure safe transfers, and maintain equipment and treatment areas.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and HIPAA requirements; participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.
Requirements
  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Washington state or eligible for licensure
  • Graduation from an accredited PTA program (Associate degree) or equivalent
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Prior experience in a long-term care, LTAC, or skilled rehabilitation setting preferred
  • Ability to work the stated shift (08:00–16:30) and participate in a travel assignment
  • Strong communication, documentation, and patient-education skills
