Senior Human Resources Generalist Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Moses Lake, Washington. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will play a key role in supporting all aspects of human resources, including hiring, onboarding, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. This position requires someone comfortable working with more traditional, manual processes, including maintaining physical employee files and managing paperwork-heavy systems.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of HR experience, including involvement in recruiting efforts. This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of your work with a paid employee stock ownership plan while enjoying a professional environment that promotes work-life balance.

Senior Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities

• Manage and update HR systems and employee records

• Provide HR guidance and support in multiple states

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law

• Conduct new hire orientations and training

• Ensure the submittal of required tax and insurance paperwork

• Coordinate employee compliance training

• Advise leadership on HR policies and practices to maintain a team-oriented culture

• Plan and budget accordingly for HR functions and company-wide events

• Serve as backup for payroll processing and benefits administration

Senior Human Resources Generalist Qualifications

• 2+ years of human resources experience required

• Experience managing personnel files/file systems required

• Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws required

• Must be willing to work onsite in Moses Lake, WA
