Park Grounds​/Custodial Maintenance; Seasonal

Overview

The City of Moses Lake is accepting applications for a seasonal Park Grounds/Custodial Maintenance position in the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department. Under the direction of the Parks Maintenance Superintendent, this seasonal position will assist in general upkeep of facilities, special event support, green spaces and hardscapes as assigned.

• Assists staff with maintenance and repairs throughout municipal grounds and parks.
• Performs landscape maintenance; weeding, planting trees and shrubs, laying sod, etc.
• Maintains restrooms and picnic facilities; collects and disposes of waste from buildings and grounds.
• Assists with ballfield maintenance.
• Assists with new park development, including clearing, grading, drainage and foundation work.
• Operates small, motorized and manually operated hand-held landscape and janitorial equipment.
• Requires occasional interaction with public.
