Overview

Lead Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services. In this year‑round role, you will lead a team of exterior service technicians, working in partnership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in commercial landscape management and exterior building/grounds maintenance will be instrumental in maintaining exterior spaces, fostering a safe and clean environment for customers.

Lead and coach exterior services technicians; ensure adherence to safety, procedures, and standards; coordinate on-the-job training for processes, equipment usage, and asset safety practices; manage and prioritize work to deliver quality service; troubleshoot customer needs and maintain service quality.

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid, state-issued driver’s license.
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
• No serious traffic violations in the 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read and speak English as required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.

• Associate’s degree in horticulture or a related area.
• Certified nursery and/or landscape professional.
• Intermediate level functionality of word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Landscaping/gardening crew leader or supervisor experience.
• Proficient in speaking and understanding Spanish.
• State/local licensing where required (e.g., Florida, Texas, California).

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Valid, state-issued driver’s license.
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license for at least 3 years with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
