E-commerce Sales Analyst

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical E-commerce Sales Analyst to provide insights into sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on sales data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. This role is key to informing strategic decisions that enhance online sales, improve customer conversion rates, and drive overall profitability for the e-commerce business.

You will work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to translate data into actionable recommendations.

• Analyze sales data from various e-commerce channels to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop regular sales reports and dashboards for management, highlighting performance against targets.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the online retail space.
• Provide insights into customer behavior, purchasing patterns, and segmentation to inform marketing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies for sales growth and customer retention.

• Proven experience as a Sales Analyst , Business Analyst, or in a similar analytical role within e-commerce.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Understanding of e-commerce metrics, sales funnels, and customer journey mapping.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
