Our client is seeking a strategic and innovative AI Product Manager to drive the development and success of their artificial intelligence product portfolio in Mossel Bay . You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered features and solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, market trends, and customer needs to deliver impactful products.
You will work closely with engineering, data science, marketing, and sales teams to bring AI innovations to market successfully.
- Define and own the product strategy, roadmap, and feature definitions for AI products.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify product opportunities.
- Prioritize product backlog items and manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and data science teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and work with marketing and sales teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Analyze product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on products to drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master's preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on AI or data-driven products.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, capabilities, and limitations.
- Proven ability to define product strategy, roadmaps, and translate requirements into actionable development plans.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
